Wind Fields is a four-piece band hailing from Siskiyou County in northern California. The band
was established in 2017 and includes multi-instrumentalists Matthew Jolliff, Julia Fryling,
Brianna Murphy, and Vince Stevenson. They write and perform almost exclusively original
songs delivered with gritty intensity and contagious energy.
Wind Fields can be a misleading name given the band’s content and sound. When the band first
formed they played primarily acoustic folk and Americana music. After years of writing and
making music with one another their sound has grown into a genre-defying collection of country,
folk, Americana, punk, rock, and electronic pop ensuring a captivating and unique listening
experience for their audience. Expect songs of country love, loss, cheeseburgers, dirty thoughts,
popcorn, strange romance, cars, and so much more.
