Daniel Hill

Redding Roots

Daniel Hill is a 27 year old musician and artist living in Redding, California. Not only does Hill write and perform his own music, he is also active in the local theatrical and technical scenes.

Hill formed his first band in 2011 (The Outside In) which quickly evolved into his second band (Highway 3). During this time, Daniel attended UC Berkeley where his songs began to reflect both Society and the Environment.

After recording a handful of albums, Highway 3 dissolved and Hill revamped his solo act. Currently, you can hear him play songs that reflect on the past, dream about the future and provide comfort in the present.

Daniel’s current musical influences include Tom Petty, The Grateful Dead and the Lumineers (to name a few).

Hill also plays guitar for the Jacob Akana Band, and plans to start his own project in the near future.

While you can’t find Daniel on streaming services like Spotify (yet), he does have some videos up for your enjoyment on YouTube.
